Every parent and every player ends up with the same problem: piles of gear they’re no longer using. Skates that only fit if you could remove your toes, a stick that barely reaches your neck now, a helmet that never quite fit. Listing that stuff online means dealing with shipping, prying it into a box, and hoping it doesn’t get lost in the abyss that is the Troutdale FedEx hub.

We’re all at the same rinks anyway. PDX Hockey Swap is built on that simple idea. Find the gear you need from someone in town, then meet up at the rink, the parking lot, or wherever works, and hand it off in person.
